I wanted to share an adorable new brooch I picked up for $27 today at a quaint bookshop called WOODS IN THE BOOKS.
This is one in a series inspired by old public playgrounds in Singapore (way before the safe rubber mats and plastic slides; when we had sand and tiles and wood and cast iron to play amongst).
I’d like to collect them all but, it’d be too excessive, no? Maybe I’ll go back and buy more as gifts for friends who’d appreciate nostalgia and quirky accessories as much as I do.
Here are some links to said playgrounds:

I go to woods in the books for childrens books but yes! couldn’t resist the broohes too! bought the yellow elephant one:) love the dragon!
Thank you Chloe for the backlink, and I am glad you love old nostalgic stuffs too.
.. but I thought $27 for Dragon is a bit ex 🙂
cheers,
andy
