I just realised that I look like the minions from Despicable Me. Mwahahaha… Well *koffkoff* I meant to do that. I take inspiration from everywhere in my styling. *koffkoff* But seriously, follow me on Instagram! I’m a little tardy with writing a full blog post while on Instagram, my outfit photos are almost there daily.
So anyway, I have been looking for inspiration on there and it’s awesome to see what women wear on a daily basis. Some days, I talk to T and ask him random stuff like “how do you think I should wear this pair of harem pants” and he’d frown at me in return. And I’d be like “What? Why are you frowning?”. He’s all smart-alecky and says “Oh I’m kinda stressed out about how you should wear those pants.” ARGH!! Husbands!! So instead of asking him for ideas, I go straight to instagram and see how other people wear it! My userID is wastedfash10n (because apparently wastedfashion is already taken).
What I’m wearing today:
Top: Black/White polka dot top from UNIQLO x Lulu Guinness
Outerwear: Mustard yellow sheer jacket from a nonameshop in Far East Plaza
Accessories: Blue, yellow & black bib style necklace from MYBEAD88 on eBay; Brown cat-eye shades from RAY BAN
Bag: Grey studs and skulls cross body bag from GORGEOUSLAND on eBay
Bottom: Light blue chambray skirt from OLD NAVY
Footwear: Black gladiator wedges from KENNETH COLE REACTION
I want to rave about this skirt and where I got it from. The waist band is stretchy, it’s chambray (denim’s less heavy sister) and only USD2.49! I got it at the OLD NAVY outlet store in Primm Valley, Nevada. I highly recommend that you make a trip to Primm when you’re visiting Las Vegas. It’s technically not in Las Vegas (about 45min drive away) but it’s called Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas. The town of Primm literally exists just to support the mall, casinos and the shops in that area. The 2 more popular outlet malls that are actually IN LAS VEGAS itself are the Premium Outlet Malls (North and South). There are definitely many more shops in those 2 malls but like their name connotes, it’s PREMIUM aka pricier or at least that’s what I think after shopping in all of them several times.
When you enter Nevada from Southern California, you’ll pass Primm and the outlet mall before you actually get to Las Vegas. I highly recommend that if you’re on holiday in Los Angeles, drive to Las Vegas and spend a few nights here. It’s only 4 1/2hrs to drive and I myself have driven across the desert. So if I can do it, so can you!
Anyway, if you’re in Las Vegas, look me up so we can go shopping together! Mwahahahhaa…
