These are new shoes. They are comfy and make my ugly feet look decent. Comfortable, light and sturdy so far. I haven’t lasted an entire day yet, so I have to wait and see. So cheap though! Paid less than SGD$25.

A quick one today because it’s rainy and I’m rather tied down with work. I chickened out wearing the dress with bare legs because it was a little chilly. Pearlyn wasn’t around to help me with pictures and Xianghui is away on a business trip… Christie, haven’t seen her today. Michelle… is kinda ill, and I didn’t want her to stand in the rain with me – hence the interesting angle. I peeked into the office while standing at the balcony (aka my photo studio).

Have to talk about one of my favourite products – the ALMAY Intense i-Color 03 Trio for Hazels! I got it off eBay (brand new) and you can see what it actually is here.

So here’s a step-by-step of how to use it (extended version ‘cos it’s a Sunday and I have some time to muck around):

Step 1 - L'OREAL Visible Radiance Renewing Gel Toner

Step 2 - BENEFIT That Gal Brightening Face Primer

Step 3 - BENEFIT Lemon Aid Color Correcting Eyelid Primer

Step 4 - MAKE UP STORE Care & Cover (Medium)

Step 5 - URBAN DECAY Surreal Skin Cream to Powder Foundation (Illusion)

Step 6 - ALMAY Intense i-Color (Apply PINK on eyelids)

Step 7 - ALMAY Intense i-Color (Apply BEIGE on browbone, under brow area)

Step 8 - ALMAY Intense i-Color (Apply BROWN along the crease) — Step 8a - ALMAY Intense i-Color (Apply BROWN along the crease)

Step 8 - ALMAY Intense i-Color (Use a smaller applicator or a Q-Tip to trace your crease) — Step 8b - ALMAY Intense i-Color (Use a smaller applicator or a Q-Tip to trace your crease)

Step 9 - BENEFIT Bad Gal Liner (Extra Black Waterproof)

Step 10 - Crimp your lashes. Bounce the eyelash curler a few times, jiggle it lightly.

Step 12 - COULEUR INC Eyebrow Pencil (Light Brown 02)

Step 13 - ESTEE LAUDER Signature Silky Powder Blush (21 Peach Nuance)

And that’s how you do your make-up in an unorthodox but a totally who-the-hell-can-tell-anyway method!!!

Someone gave me this lovely cherry-print cosmetics pouch from Steph & Co. by http://www.stephaniejohnson.com/

I change the contents of my make-up pouch as often as I want to. Though my staples include my eyebrow pencil, eyeliner, concealer and pressed powder. This is just for mobile use and touch ups on the go.

Right now, I have:

With this, I can amp it up for parties right after work, or do a minor touch-up in the day or even get by spending a night out and waking up in random overnight situations…
