IMG_7950So the secret to taking good selfies is a weird angle huh? I can’t see my double chin in this photo! You know, I have to say that while I like looking at those posed or curated blogs/instagram pictures, it’s a little disconcerting when the person is unrecognisable. I see that happening to a lot of wedding photos – the contouring, falsies, air-brushing and what-not. Why do you want to not look like yourself so much? Maybe a little tweaking or colour-balancing is okay but I’ve seen pictures where their entire face shape is different. I do almost no editing because I’m just lazy like that. These days, if there is an “enhance” button, I’d click it. If not, you get the actual photo – warts and all. Besides, I don’t drive to the park to look wistfully  just so I can take mood pictures with nice backgrounds.

Anyway, I have a huge head. I don’t like taking photos with the myspace-style angle (aka top angle down) if I can help it. When T does it, he always makes me look like a bobble-head doll because he’s almost an entire foot taller than I am. But when I get him to put the camera nearer his navel, the photos come out all blurry or weirder. HAHAHA!IMG_7959
