This is one of my favourite ASOS purchases. I like skater dresses and skirts because of my lack of curves. I need the flare of the skirt to break the solid block that is my body. Also ASOS has a Petite range and there are always copies of the same item that’s found in their Straight size collection for shorter people. I’m between 5′ 0″ and 5′ 1″. I always say 5′ 0′ because it’s neater. HAHA!

What I’m wearing today:

Dress: Black rosette skater dress from ASOS

Accessories: Blue chinese knot necklace from FONDA (at Far East Plaza); Brown faux leather belt from STEVE MADDEN

Footwear: Brown heeled clogs from OLD NAVY

If you’re under 5′ 4″ too, where do you normally shop? I would really like to get into Maxi dresses but it’s so difficult to buy something off the shelves without having to get it shortened.

  1. So cute! Unfortunately I can’t provide any advice on clothes for smaller peeps… I have the opposite problem.

  2. Do you ever shop in junior sections? I find they tend to be shorter in the hems. I’m 5’4 which admittedly isn’t that short, but department stores like JCPenney usually have petite sizes too.
