Whad’ya know? It’s Friday, Friday, Friday!! I’m so excited for the weekend to come. There are plans and there are plans! Happy Mothers’ Day in advance too!
As an aside to today’s outfit post, I want to talk about my plans for next weekend! I’m really excited about Flipside – 17 to 26 May 2013! Flipside is a family-friendly, all-ages festival that is held at Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay. Think of it as part carnival, part comedy festival, all fun! There are ticketed performances as well as lots of FREE ones! There are also other complementary activities if you’re not interested in watching a show.
I last caught The Kransky Sisters (Australia) when they were here in 2008. OMG! So hilarious! I highly recommend a girls’ night out for this show. Tickets are only $35 from SISTIC! I’ll be going to the one on 18 May at 3pm!! Also on 17 May at 7.30pm, The Sharpe Brothers (USA) will be performing comedic acrobatic stunts for free at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre. Won’t miss that one! The kiddies would love it too! The other show that I’d have like to catch (if I was here) would be Technodelic Visual Show by SIRO-A (Japan). They’re like Asia’s answer to The Blue Man Group. Tickets are also $35 from SISTIC – pity I’ll be in Las Vegas that weekend. If you go, let me know what you think okay?
