Today I went to my old pal Rydwan’s house for Hari Raya makan! It’s been a long time since I went to his parents’ place to enjoy the post-Ramadhan festivities since he has been living in London for the past few years. His mum didn’t even realise that we’ve been colleagues for a while now! She only knew me as Ryd’s classmate from A levels!
Anyways, it was a nice small gathering of our colleagues (and he had other groups going over in batches throughout the day). Also, I was surprised with the most chocolatey cake from Four Leaves (my 2nd favorite from their range is the Strawberry Shortcake). My birthday is not for another 5 days so I was genuinely confused when they brought it out!
