I first bought the GLADE DECOR SCENTS solid air freshener from a neighbourhood discount store type place for $2. The first 2 I bought were CLEAN LINEN and LAVENDER & VANILLA. I’ve been using them for almost 3 weeks and they’re still going strong. I put the CLEAN LINEN one in my clothes closet and the other is just placed on the bookshelf nearest to my bed. I absolutely love how when I come home from work and enter my room, I smell the deliciously dreamy LAVENDER & VANILLA. I inhale deeply a few times before settling down and go about showering/changing out of my work clothes. It sounds a bit crazy but it really takes you to another place. And for me, it feels like a signal to tell myself to relax, I’m home now.
Anyway, I’ve been on a semi domestic streak and I went off on a hunt for more of these. I discovered another discount store selling if for $1.90! Woooo! Score! And I just purchased the HAWAIIAN BREEZE and FRENCH VANILLA. I’m kinda excited to see what they’re like. In the meantime, my existing GLADE DECOR SCENTS don’t seem to show any signs of slowing down…

An Exercise In Trivial Pursuits 
My weakness for room scents are those oil diffusers with bamboo sticks. Next, are scented incense sticks, for the cat toilet — I light one up after cleaning the cats’ boxes.
When it comes to scents, I avoid citrus or strawberry smells, because they remind me too much of public toilets in Singapore
