Today’s ethnic-inspired outfit is a nod to Deepavali (or Diwali) celebrations that happen next week. It is an important festive occasion in Singapore because the Indians and Hindus celebrate it.
Instead of a punjabi-suit, I put together something that resembles it. The sheer jacket is supposed to emulate a shawl because it’s so flowy. I cover my arms and legs modestly. Bright colours, always a must with me and of course, Indian festivities. Gold jewellery always look so good on Indian women, I’m not sure if I’m washing the gold out with my pallour. So what do you think of my take on an ethnic-inspired get-up?
