It’s been a crazy August!

I’m almost 100% back to reality. The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of events. Work consumed most of my time, heart and soul. But I managed to take some time off to recuperate and I go back to the grind tomorrow (Wednesday) morning after being away since last Thursday. In the same span of 3 weeks, I’ve managed to turn my entire routine topsy-turvy. I’ve been trying to get back on track with everything from blogging to meals to exercise to sleep cycles to… everything. To help me along, I’ve spent the last 5 days going to the gym, using up coupons for spa treats, reading and spending time alone. I think I’m about ready for the last of it and hello September!

So anyway, here’s what I’ve been up to (in pictures)

And then... witnessing the stripping of everything, only to start again for 2012!
And then... witnessing the stripping of everything, only to start again for 2012!

This barely scratches the surface of the work that I do but there are no pictures of me getting yelled at by artists, or frantically rewriting approval papers and finding ways to manage my very lean budget, or constantly crunching numbers to ensure everything is accounted for while everyone is out enjoying themselves or filing contracts/release forms/other paperwork or keying in numbers and checking on stats every morning before everyone arrives… Some people think it’s so frivolous but I am not some people. It so fills my heart and belly with so much joy I burst. Much much much much more than fried chicken and froyo with blueberries can ever be! So… there, I have allowed my work to consume me for the last few weeks and now I might be going into a slump before revving up to do this all over again for 2012. (A silent prayer and many thanks for the good press too!)
