Couponing: PTF Hair Removal at Maylandé

Date: 21 June 2011

Deal: Voucher for $25 for PTF Painless Permanent Hair Removal for Upper Lip, Underarm or Bikini Line at Maylandé Worth $90

How it went:

I have previously done VPL at Amore on my underarms and I am very satisfied with the results. Whilst my Pink Parlour brazilians have been fairly good, I think I might want to look at a more permanent solution. I’m a little afraid of putting lasers down there because I’m worried it might fry my eggs, you know? But what the heck.

So yes, it was hard to locate the shop. I walked round and round for close to 15minutes around SQUARE 2 before finding a way to get to the basement and then found it tucked in one corner. I liked the decor though. And I told them so. The therapist who attended to me was chatty and pleasant. As the procedure went on, she explained what she was doing and also talked about the effects of this treatment. Painless and fast. I almost fell asleep on their very comfortable treatment bed.

As with other places, there was the after-treatment sales pitch. It wasn’t hard selling and I was comfortable enough to ask for more information about their facial services. In the course of the chit-chat, I learnt that they’ve been in Singapore for 11 years and were previously at Mandarin Hotel before rent became too high. They also have a branch in Hong Kong.

Because they did not force me into putting money down for anything, I was happy to listen to what they had to say to me. I could see myself going back there over an extended period and they were patient enough to go through their service list with me as I asked 100000 questions. Left without buying anything but am seriously considering. Came home with a menu and a name card.
