Being frivolous is hard. It requires the right mindset and determination. I guess I’m a fraud. If it were up to me, I’ll be in jeans and a band t-shirt everyday.

Operation CULL is underway and I’ve been gently picking at the contents of my closet for eBay. I am on leave from work next Friday and have to be home (with the Gran). So I’ll grit my teeth and pull out about 25 things from my stash to release on eBay.

The way I figure, I need to overhaul my habits and reduce the number of clothes and my excessive buying. As it is, I seldom go to the shops or buy full priced items, yet I still end up with so many things. This is terrible!

For the whole month of December, NO BUYING NEW CLOTHES/SHOES/BAGS/MAKE-UP or anything (other than essentials like toiletries and food). For January, I will allow myself to shop for pre-loved items on eBay in a controlled fashion (get rid of one item, buy 1 item), in February, I am allowed to buy online at stores that are not available in Singapore (BUT only when there is a sale or discounts) and in March, I can go to the shops… only if there is a sale. I am getting ahead of myself, aren’t I? I can’t think beyond March 2011 anyway. Not even sure if I can stick to the plan. Ho Ho Ho to me…
