It’s been days since I last posted or even taken a picture of my outfits. Been busy at work – yes, too busy to even spare 5 minutes to take some pictures and 10 minutes to write a post. Some days are just like that but it’s ok. Days where I am able to post, seem to outnumber those I can’t.
Here’s something I prepared over the last few weeks. It’s not really a review, just a collection of pre-moistened facial masks and eye patches I’ve used recently. I wish I was more dedicated with a proper cleanse, tone, moisturise routine or even go for facials regularly. In lieu of those habits, I have my quick fixes:
Cettua Half Moon A&E Patch – it’s sticky on the other side, not slimy. I’m not sure if it works but it comes in a pack of 6 from SASA. Will I buy this again? Maybe not.
Watsons Active Firming Stretchable Mask – Most definitely one of my favourite face masks. Other than Active Firming, you can also get the Whitening or Moisturising from this range. I like it because it allows me to move around and it won’t slide off because it’s hooked to your ears. Comes in a box of 5 pieces. I swear my skin is baby soft the next morning even after sleeping in an air-conditioned room.
SK-II SIGNS Eye Mask – Pricey. About $4 or $5 for a pair off eBay. I love it so much though. I swear it works. I’m actually considering going for a consultation at a proper SK-II counter to start my first ever skincare routine. I’ve heard it being raved so often that I had to try it for myself. Will definitely continue using this as long as I can afford it.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Mask – not sure if I’ll buy this again. I might because it seemed to work. Bought this off a counter at the cashier for $2 a sheet. Weird thing is, the mask was papery instead of fiberous.
Clarus Anti Wrinkle Bio Cellulose Eye Patches – will definitely not buy this again. The shape of the patches don’t fit. The mask dried up pretty quickly. I think the paper/fiber they used wasn’t very good.
L’Oreal Derma Expertise Revitalift Stretch Mask – if it wasn’t so ill-fitting on my face, I would definitely buy this again. Very soft paper/fibre sheet mask. My skin was really soft the next morning. What do you do with the eye flaps?
Cettua My Bright Face Mate Brightening Patch – again, I don’t know if it works. It’s got this thick sticky side and it’s quite puffy. Wasn’t uncomfortable to use but I’m not sure what it does.
What do you use? Do you have a skincare routine? Or are you like me – generic drugstore brands will do, until an emergency?
